  • Why do my pets need vaccines and regular examinations?

Regular exams and vaccines keep your pet healthy and safe from contagious diseases. It is the most important thing you can do for your pet.

Puppies and kittens should start getting vaccinations at 6 to 8 weeks of age and continue receiving them every month until they are 16 weeks of age.

Contact Animal Medical Clinic to schedule a vaccination for your pet.

  • What kind of dog vaccines do you offer?

We vaccines to dogs for distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, parvovirus, coronavirus, Lyme disease, bordetella, rabies, and canine influenza.

Get your dog tested annually for heartworm in the spring and begin giving the dog heartworm-preventative medication to protect the dog against this deadly disease.

  • What kind of cat vaccines do you give?

We offer distemper, calicivirus, herpes, chlamydial conjunctivitis, feline leukemia, bordetella, and rabies cat vaccines.

  • What are combination vaccinations?

Many of the vaccinations for your pet come in a combination vaccine. This means your pet will not need an individual injection for each disease.

To check for internal parasites, fecal or stool samples are checked yearly at the time of vaccinations.
